Major: Computer Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
The engineering program at Penn State is excellent. My particular feild is very competivite as you need to earn a high gpa in your first two years here simply to get into the major of computer engineering or computer science. The social life is probally the highlight for me here, so much to do and i'm not talking about just drinking, although there is much of that. If you don't drink however, you can find pluny of people that don't and even the university provides many activities at "late night" for students that don't wish to be involved in the drinking scene. At first the place might seem very large, however once you get past introductary classes, the class sizes are small and you generally see the same people over and over again in classes as long as they have a major similar to yours. The city is also perfect, you have all the benifits of a large city without any of the drawbacks such as poor sections of a city with much crime. It is very easy for anyone to fit in here and enjoy themselves as long as you are a social person. I highly reconmend that you visit the campus and see for youself what a great place that is. I can't imagine going anywhere else to school, in fact i enjoy being at school more than i enjoy being at home and thats after only one sesmester here. It'll be hard to say good-bye when my 4 years are up!
