Clemson is a great University. Although it sometimes seems like too much emphasis is placed on sports, it’s part of the goal of continuing to be a top university in the nation. The one thing prospective students should know is that the city of Clemson is small and focused around the university. However, Charlotte, NC, and Atlanta, GA, are both two hours away from Clemson, with other decent sized cities within 20 minutes.
