UofI is not the school it is put up to be. The people of Illinois think that UofI is this exclusive, prestigious university. The fact is that it is not. The quality of education is good but not great. It is not as hard to get into as students here want to make it sound. The campus is nothing special and is surrounded by…well…nothing. Unless you like to live in the middle of endless cornfields at a mediocre university, do not come here.
