I thought I'd LOVE York becuase they made it sound like there was always some activity planned and that the city was great and it was a ton of fun…WRONG! everyone leaves on the weekends(its like a ghost town friday afternoons-sunday nights), they NEVER have anything planned on weekends and the only thing to do on weekends is drink,drink, DRINK! yes,im not going to lie and say i dont drink,because i do party occasionally, but drinking gets old after while. the city of york is pretty dumpy and frankly,very scary/shady. The edge of campus borders on what appears to be the ghetto…although it isnt,its pretty close. the townies HATE us college kids and york is not a college town. Im def. looking for a college town,a place with more activities than drinking and one that isnt in such a shady area, so therefore im transferring next fall. DONT COME HERE UNLESS ALL YOU WANT TO DO IS A)GO HOME EVERY WEEKEND B)SIT IN YOUR DORM EVERY WEEKEND or C) DRINK ALL WEEK…
