The college's social life is great thanks to the fraternities and sororities that host parties daily. The athletic department is poorly funded so do not expect much. The IS department is the worst I have every seen. It is lead by a group of dinosaurs that are stuck in their old ways. The department needs more hands on work and a lab of their own! This college is great if you don’t have a real major such as rec and leisure, and mass communication. If you want to do something with your life, York is not the place. The college’s rules and procedures are mind-boggling and are sure to piss you off at least a hundred times a year. Get involved and make your four years worth wild! Enjoy the students and college life because York has the best social atmosphere I have ever seen for a small school.
