IIT is a tech school with a work oriented atmosphere, but that does not mean that there is no sociallizing going on around campus. Instead of sitting around in your room, go out, say hi to unknown faces, talk to the guy or girl sitting next to you in class, go to the parties, talk to the athletes, and be yourself. This school is what you make of it. I am enjoying my experience here, but I went out and made my own fun with friends. Get involved too, it helps.
