Geneseo is great because it is small. The faculty and administration can get to know your name, if you make yourself known. The campus is beautiful, and the town is small and cute. There are so many resources here for your advantage that nobody should do poorly if you know where to go if you are struggling, and if you have good time management. It's easy to get in over your head, because there is so much to do here with clubs and organizations. There are plenty of student job opportunities also. NOthing ever gets real crowded and things stay pretty neat and clean. The food is good, the health services are good, it's safe, and I have really loved my 3 years here. The one bad thing about this school is that there is so little diversity it makes me sick. The students all look like they came out of a white upper-class abercrombie and fitch wearing heterosexual christian mold. And if you don't have a car and if you are not 21, you are not stuck in your room for the night. Main street doesn't have much else but bars and pizza shops open at night. Town stuff, like the movies and bowling, is a couple miles from campus though. But main street has a movie rental place, and the student union is open till about 12 with pool and things like that. And there are always things going on on campus during the week. We have concerts, lectures, art shows, dinners, movies, theme weekends, and tons of other fun and educational programming.
