First, I advise that before committing to any university, you take a tour of the campus and the surrounding area to see what both have to offer. By doing this, you will not hold any false ideas about what to expect from your time at your future college. Specifically regarding Clemson University, I feel secure in my decision to enroll there. Of course CU has its share of problems similar to any other university. However, CU's campus is beautiful and comfortable, and overall the people are friendly. Clemson University's reputation is as an "Engineering School," although I believe Clemson has more to offer than just one major. Other departments at Clemson are promising and appealing for students, and in general the faculty is competent and willing to help students obtain a quality education. No, Clemson University is not located in a town booming with nightlife, and anyone who is solely concerned with that aspect of college should look somewhere else. However, there are constant social activities in progress on the campus, and there are plenty of organizations to join if you desire to do so. Clemson University is an excellent school to attend in South Carolina, and I recommend it to anyone.
