This university is, well… a state university. I believe that you CAN get a good education here, but it will take a lot of work on your part. You cannot just sit at a desk and expect everything to be taught to you. That said, even though it is still expensive to go here, if you are an in state student with bright futures scholarships you will get a very good deal. The campus is very lovely. Tallahassee is a lovely small city, and there are things here to do if you are willing to find them. It will not be like Orlando tho. The faculty is a mixed bag… just as in life. I have had great professors and horrible ones as well. As a parting note, I will warn you that FSU is very much a "deep south" school. If you have not grown up in the south, it might be a bit of a nasty shock for you to come here… And yes, many people have accents.
