UPenn's mathematics program cannot even hold a candle to the top ones. It's NOTHING compared to MIT, Harvard, Stanford, Princeton, Chicago, Berkeley, Caltech, Harvey Mudd, etc…So reading a review like yours makes me question the quality of students in UPenn. Clearly you're a student of inferior intelligence, who is completely deluded, blind, and full of arrogance. Those are not good signs.Get good. |
Major: Math (This Major's Salary over time)
The University of Pennsylvania has an excellent academic environment, arguably superior to that of many of its peers in the ivy league. As a student of mathematics who has done extensive research on undergraduate mathematics programs, I can tell you that I have not come across a mathematics major so challenging, and yet so flexible. On the other hand, this means that only the truly serious mathematics students can pursue a mathematics major here, which leaves makes the small group of mathematics majors an extremely bright group of people, probably some of the best of the University. But even if your interests are not in the quantitative sciences, you will find some of the best departments the country in the social sciences and the humanities, as well as a vast array of options to challenge yourself academically.
