Major: English (This Major's Salary over time)
I chose Clemson because I thought it would have more of a small town, college atmosphere. Unfortunatly, this is not the case. The social life here is o.k., but if you are underage and go to a party, expect to be hassled by the police. If you decide not to be hassled then you pretty much have nothing else to do. I would suggest joining some sort of organization in order to have any sort of social life. I find the teachers, espcially in the Enlish department to be lacking. They are, for the most part, older, closed minded profesors who are just waiting to retire. Clemson is an extreamly conservative southern school were independent thoughts are shunned. However, Clemosn is an engineering school, and I am an English major, so I see the bottom end of the proffesors.
