Rider is strictly concerned about being paid and their financial aide department and registrar faculty have the most disgusting attitudes. The students are reserved to cliques and racially seperated african americans stick to african americans, asians to asians, whites to whites. Rider tries to put off this image of diversity THEY ARE NOT DIVERSE!! Rarely are teachers helpful and aside from the dean cambell everyone has nasty attitudes.

Oh, where do I start? My grades were (in all honesty) really good in high school. I was in good academic standing and my rank was very good. My SAT was average, but decent. They're financial aid is horrible. Even with all the hard work I've did I got ZERO scholarships from this school. They rely too heavily on the SAT and not overall high school grades. The faculty is decent, but could use some work. The students are basically in high school because they are so clique(y). I am going to stick out the first semester only because I got a lot of outside scholarships but after that, I am cutting ties and going to a more affordable college and friendly college. Save your money because all they give you is loans.

“Academically, Rider's pretty good.BrightEducation
Academically, Rider's pretty good. I've been really satisfied with most of my classes and professors. It's just challenging enough and I've maintained pretty good grades. Socially, though, this place sucks. The girls are really cliquey once they make friends and the guys can be real jerks. It's a huge suitcase school, so there's not really much to do on weekends. The staff in the dining hall and just about every where else, with the exception of 3 people at Starbucks, are rude and just plain unfriendly. After about the first week of school, people are settled into their clique of friends, so it makes it difficult to make friends after that. I'd say, if you're close enough to commute, do that instead of live here. It's honestly been a waste of my money and I'm going to commute next semester.
