The University of Maryland at College Park is a beautiful campus that is diverse opportunity filled. I actually transferred here from a small school in upstate New York and find that I love it here so much more because of the diverse population and constantly having something to do.

Question
Do not come hereEnglish
Do not come here if you do not have ready made friends, are shy, or are intmidated by a very large campus. It is very hard to get to know anyone from your classes. You will regret wasting your money, especially if you are not happy.

I'm really, really pleased with my choice ofBrightHistory/Histories (art history/etc.)
I'm really, really pleased with my choice of schools. I'm from out of state, and although the tuitiion is pretty high, it is worth the money. The honors program here is amazing. The classes are smaller, more in-depth, and they really make you think. I wouldn't go to any other school. On top of all of this, the student body is really strong. The campus was hit by a very severe tornado earlier this week, but the students are pulling together. Most of the freshman had to be evacuated from their buildings, so the upper classmen came to the student union and asked if they could house a student until the dorms were habitable again. I couldn't imagine going any place else.
