Millikin University

Millikin does an adequate job of preparing students for continuing education in graduate or professional school. The small student body and relatively low student to faculty ratios mean that student access to professors is superb. Since leaving Millikin, I've taken classes at larger state schools in Illinois, where I've felt like a number. This was never the case at Millikin, where even an introverted nerd like myself can feel included.I feel that the preparation for graduate school that I received from Millikin was far superior to that of my colleagues because of the liberal-arts style education that Millikin offered. While at Millikin, I think that I failed to realize how important a broad base of understanding would become.

There are several large areas of plaines to land your apace shuttle upon. There is also an underground probing station for abductions. LOVE IT HERE!

Millikin University gave me an outstanding foundation in the study of music and in learning to best deal with fellow musicians. The performance opportunities were abundant and the ensembles were truly very fine organizations. I was wonderfully prepared for graduate school and the lessons learned at Millikin are still called upon in my professional career--over 27 years since I graduated. I highly recommend Millikin University to anyone interested in studying music--whether it be Music Education, Music Performance, Commercial Music, or Music Theater.
